Privacy at Run Desk
This site publishes text. It has no accounts, no forms, no comment system and no advertising, so most of the usual privacy questions have a short answer.
What the site collects
Nothing you provide, because there is nothing to provide it to. There is no login, no registration, no newsletter signup, no comment box, no contact form and no shopping process on this site. Every page is a document, and reading a document here does not create a record about you that the desk holds.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages processes the requests that reach it, which includes an IP address and the details a browser sends with a request. That processing exists to serve the page and to keep the server available. It is not used to build a profile, is not sold, and is not combined with anything else.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. There is no session, no preference store and no consent state to remember, because there is nothing that would need remembering. If your browser reports a cookie from this domain, the desk would like to know about it, because it would be a defect rather than a feature.
Third-party requests
Pages here load a small number of resources from external hosts, and it is honest to name them rather than to claim the site is entirely self-contained.
- A stylesheet and script bundle from a public CDN for the layout framework used by these pages.
- Web fonts from a font host, which is why the type renders consistently across devices.
Requests to those hosts are made by your browser, not by the desk, and each of those providers sees the request in the ordinary way any host sees a request for a file. If you block them, the pages remain readable; they simply render with system fonts and less styling. The desk operates no analytics on this site, embeds no advertising, and includes no social widgets or tracking pixels.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to external documentation and to a third-party automation console. Those links open in a new tab, and once you follow one you are on somebody else's site under somebody else's policies. The desk has no visibility into what happens there and no ability to change it. Read the privacy policy of any site you are about to give information to, particularly one that asks you to connect a wallet or create an account.
If you write to the address on the contact page, the desk holds that email as long as it is useful for handling the correction or question, and no longer. Nothing sent by email is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. Do not send secrets of any kind, including keys, seed phrases or credentials; the desk has no use for them and no way to protect them for you.
Changes
If the site ever adds something that changes this description, such as analytics or a form, this page changes first and says what was added. A privacy page that quietly stops matching the site is worse than no privacy page, so the commitment here is that this document describes what the site actually does at the time you read it.
